..painted light blue

There is something particularly interesting in how they used to write to the reader, back some 100-200 years ago. I like this short part in one of the first pages of Notre-Dame De Paris very much. I like how the words are playfully intellectual. It continues into describing Paris. Not necessarily as a city, but as a living, breathing creature's soul. My words suck though... Can't even write ffs.

Off to work in an hour or so. Bebi says hi.

Through Christiania (Oslo) 1914

Through the streets of Oslo, 1914. It's funny how it looks just the same as today, 100 years later.

Filmet av Hans Berge, som satt seg bakerst på trikken og kjører Drammensveien fra Sollie plass til Stortinget.

Is it going to snow or what?

Guess what.. It actually snowed again last night and today. This little fellow I befriended just the other day must have been very disappointed. I met him basking in the sun on this rotten leaf. Hope he's ok.

(Dont read the following unless you're extremely bored and want to know the particulars about my day)
Today was a good day. It's not even over yet! Ok, lets sum it up (for my own sake. ehe): Woke up earlier than necessary. Enjoyed the early sun, but I had not made up my mind on what to think of the snow just yet. When I stepped outside I knew though, the fresh spring air in ice cold form. Ice in the small waterpits I know too well, warming sun, no mud. Love it. Off to work, got some time to read beforehand. It suddenly got really cold, sitting inside out of the reach of my beloved sunbeams, reading about Kvothe who is numb by cold, laying helpless in the streets of Tarbean in muddy snow. I finished up and started working. I knew I would have a lot to do before the end of todays work, so I figured I would start my monday with a bigger smile than usual. Work work work and I just love deadlines!!! eheh... Ended up leaving an hour later than planned, no breaks (means no food) and still I was not ready to go home just yet. Had to run some errands for my mom. (just checked up the word errands. It's particularly close to the norwegian word, Ærend, and it seems (according to wikipedia) that it originates from the old english word 'ærende') Finally got home around 7, had dinner, did important stuff. Ended up here to organize more photos, and now just some minutes past 10 pm I am actually tired enough to go to sleep.

I have a day off tomorrow. I will spend it in the sun (if there is any). I will eat fruits, read, make a salad, take the train to oslo and visit the a new library and just seize the day.

Under water

Picture was taken under water, in andalucia, last year.

Oslo - Copenhagen

Forrige helg gikk spontant med på en båttur til Danmark.

One of those sundays..

.. with my face on it..

My face is a rare thing in this blog. Lets change that. Bebi is keeping me company. Trying to sleep. I just finished a meal, looked through Thor: The dark world bonus material, going to look over some recent pictures on my camera (I might publish them here), would love to read a little and as I am done with everything important to do, I might find time for an hour in the world of Skyrim.

The end of this weekend is drawing dangerously close, too fast for my liking.

I recently read two novels by Jim Harrison. Revenge and Legends of the Fall. I enjoyed reading Revenge, but as I love the movie based upon Legends of the Fall, it turned out to be scarce of all the details I love in the movie. I tried to finish Notre-Dame de Paris, right after I read the novels, but it got too boring. I tried to read Kiplings The Jungle Book, but I was not in the mood.

Instead I started rereading a favorite, The Name of the Wind. I don't want the triology to end, so I dare not begin the second book just yet.

materialistic wishlist

Urban outfitters wishlist. Can't have just one watch or two pair of boots. I need these aswell next time I make a visit.

Its weekend

Eating some yoghurt glazed, dried pineapple waiting to leave for copenhagen for the weekend. God I need some time off everything now. I'm bringing my camera, and hopefully I'll find time to publish some of them later. Either way I will rember to have a good time and get plenty of sleep.

All the kittens are sold to good homes. Only Gienah remains as shes a little underweight. It was hard to depart from them, but worst with little Mintaka, grown a big favorite of mine.

Wishing everyone who pops by a great weekend. På gjensyn!

One of those days of

Cold, but not so cold weather; busy but yet pleasurable; gastronomical but of no exspense; long but still too short; songs sung highly when no one listened; sad faces left in smiles and so on. A most lovely day of details to remember.

And, got a new top today.

I should bring my camera around more often (as these and most pictures appearing here are phoneshots). Seeing too much beauty at once I would love to keep some for later.
